THE BRIEF
Refresh the restaurant's indoor and outdoor spaces while preserving its distinctive identity and relationship with the Bosphorus.
THE APPROACH
Between 2010 and 2015, successive renovations brought together garden landscape renewal, interior design elements and coordinated lighting schemes. The work developed under the creative direction of Fehmi Yaşar, founder and former owner of Lacivert Restaurant.
THE RESULT
A series of considered improvements connected landscape, interiors and lighting into a coherent guest experience. The project demonstrates how a familiar restaurant can evolve through careful, incremental design.
