Katina Restaurant

Nestled in the most beautiful spot of Ege Perla Shopping Center, a place that brings together distinguished brands and offers a delightful living space, I brought Katina Restaurant to life by blending live music with the essence of an Aegean tavern. The primary goal was to create a warm and enjoyable atmosphere by harmonizing the indispensable elements of taverna culture—Aegean cuisine, music, and the Mediterranean essence—with a refined architectural approach.

In the design process, I aimed to craft unique textures by combining the robustness of fire bricks and concrete, the elegance of wood and brass, the chicness of wooden tabletops with iron legs, and the soft yellow light with vibrant colors. I merged a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere with a fresh and contemporary spirit in both the interior and exterior spaces of the restaurant. The small acoustic stage inside greets visitors, while the elegant wooden furniture and brass-detailed bespoke fixtures add a distinctive character to the space.

Incorporating clean-lined stylistic details, soft lighting, pastel colors, and trendy brass and wooden elements, I created an inviting and elegant environment where guests can savor Turkish Aegean cuisine. This was one of the most rewarding experiences of my design journey. Through blending traditional and modern elements, I transformed Katina Restaurant into a unique destination within Ege Perla Shopping Center.
